A small, intentional practice serving the north Denver metro
Mindfully Rooted Therapy serves adults in Westminster, Thornton, Northglenn, Broomfield, and the north Denver metro — both in person at our office on West 120th Avenue and via secure telehealth across Colorado. I work with people who are ready to move beyond surface-level coping and get to the root of what's keeping them stuck. Whether you're navigating anxiety, healing from trauma, repairing a relationship, or learning to work with a neurodivergent brain, my goal is the same: help you build a life that feels lighter, clearer, and more like yours.
How I Can Help
Anxiety Therapy
The constant low hum of worry. The 3 a.m. spiral. The body that won't relax even when nothing's wrong. Anxiety lives in the thoughts, the body, and the parts of you that learned long ago to stay on guard. I work with all three layers using EMDR, CBT, IFS, and somatic tools. Couples Counseling
You used to be on the same team. Lately it feels like you're translating across a language barrier. Using a Gottman-informed approach, I help couples rebuild trust, repair communication patterns, and find their way back to each other — without anyone having to be the villain. Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy
If you're ADHD, autistic, AuDHD, or somewhere on the spectrum of "my brain doesn't work like everyone else seems to think it should" — therapy should not be one more place you have to mask. I offer affirming support for late-diagnosed adults, burnout, sensory overwhelm, executive-function struggles, and the particular grief of finally having a name for what you've always known. EMDR Therapy for Trauma
When something painful won't loosen its grip — even after years of understanding it intellectually — EMDR can help your nervous system finally process what your mind already knows. I'm trained in EMDR and use it for trauma, anxiety, grief, and stuck memories. Learn more about EMDR therapy in Thornton & Westminster →
My Approach
I'm trained in several modalities — EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic work, and Gottman-informed couples therapy — but methods are tools, not the point. The point is meeting you where you are, paying attention to what your particular system needs, and weaving together what actually works for you. Some sessions look like quiet, slow somatic work. Others look like practical skill-building or unpacking the stories you've been telling yourself. Most are some of both.
I believe insight without integration doesn't change much. So we'll work in your thinking mind and your nervous system and the relational patterns that show up in your life — because lasting change happens when all three move together.
Meet Sarah
I'm Sarah Kraft, LCSW. I came to this work because I believe people are not their symptoms, their diagnoses, or the worst things that have happened to them — and because I've watched good therapy change lives, including my own. My practice is grounded in evidence-based methods and a deep respect for the wisdom your body and history already carry. Read more about my background and approach →
